I photographed them at the bands studio in Cardiff. I’ve loved the Manics since I got their ‘Stay Beautiful’ CD single back in 1991 so it was a real honour to have my work included in their CD artwork 20(!) years later. I’d wanted to work with this band for a long time. I’d photographed Wretch before for Q Magazine and a few months later we got together again to do this.
